Our Commitment to Accessibility

BKU University (BKU) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. BKU's website is designed to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

Substantially conformant means that while most of the content conforms to the accessibility standards, there may be some portions that do not yet fully conform. We are actively working to address these areas.
